Rule 39
If you answer falsely or try to evade the order of the court, action will be taken
(1) If any person gives a false answer to the court in relation to the prisoner with the intention of defrauding the order of the court or making it ineffective in any way, if he transfers any prisoner from one place to another place after receiving or having the opportunity to receive information by any means that an application for extradition has been made, or if the court hesitates without clearly giving the answer requested by the court. Will order the prisoner to be released from prison.
(2) When giving an order in accordance with sub-rule (1), the court may order that the person or officer in custody be punished for contempt of court or sent in writing to the relevant office for departmental action.
